A weathered wooden door opens...who wouldn't be enticed by this glimpse of a courtyard beyond? There's space and light (so much more than expected), a sense of serenity, and possibilities too. Imagine it by night, glowing candles set in lanterns and a long draped table laid for a party...or early morning, when you could drink coffee and eat a perfect croissant under a tree to the sound of birdsong. What would you do if it were yours?

Lovely! A wrought iron lounge chair and tea table would assure many pleasurable hours hidden away reading on those days without dinner parties.
What lovely thoughts to wake up to this morning.
A number of years ago I rented an apartment in
Paris for me and my daughter when she graduated
from college. And for two weeks we pretended we lived there.
Sadly, we never got to Provence, but your piece brought back
a flood of wonderful memories.

Sorry for the scrambled message. Words ran behind my picture. I tried to fix but only made it worse. :)
Deborah if iy was mine I would spend as much time as possible in it! all the best Angela
Lovely shot...few places can you find such peace like in Provence. I'd have my coffee and pain au chocolat there every morning... bon weekend!
1. A large wrought iron wine rack.
2. A round stone wall enclosing a hot tub. Near the wine rack.

Gorgeous shot!
I do like that coffee and croissant idea, as long as it's not too early morning...
It'd be the ideal spot to enjoy some really good wine & cheese.
It's begging for a table and chairs, but maybe they are hidden behind the door.
Nice picture! I think that it begs for some music...
I would hopefully be able to afford to maintain it! Hahaha. Really, though, it's a lovely spot for a wedding, isn't it? Can't you just see the tables with tea light candles and long white tablecloths, the floating dresses of the bridal party? It's ideal.
On an unrelated matter, I just wanted to let you know that you’ve been nominated for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award and the One Lovely Blog Award. Check here for more information: http://emilystealeaves.wordpress.com/2012/10/22/more-blog-awards/
cheers!
If it's mine, I will definitely spend most of time there cuddling my husband and enjoying a nice cup of tea and brownies.
I like it,,,))
